Spine® Fusion & Flare Checkpoints

A simple overview of what you may expect when you visit one of our checkpoints.

CHECKPOINT FACILITIES

Participants must, as a minimum, register in/ out of each checkpoint along the route. This is for safety reasons and will also help your raise your morale on a tough day. You may also be checked by a member of the race medical team.

What can I expect at a checkpoint?

  • Hot Drinks/ Water

  • Drinks including Tea, Coffee etc

  • Hot Food (1 good hot meal per athlete)

  • Somewhere to sleep (This may be a bed or floor space so be prepared!)

  • WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND EAR PLUGS AND A SLEEPING MASK. CHECKPOINTS CAN BE NOISY!

  • Toilets this may or may not include shower facilities

  • Shower Facilities are available at CP1, 2, 3, 4.

  • We do our best to provide adequate washing facilities at the end of the Spine® Race

  • Medical Staff

We try our best to cater for allergies/ dietary requirements but if you have a specialist diet you may need to bring additional food. Please contact info@thespinerace.com for further information. This information will also be requested prior to the event.
