Spine® Fusion & Flare Checkpoints

A simple overview of what you may expect when you visit one of our checkpoints.

CHECKPOINT FACILITIES

Participants must, as a minimum, register in/ out of each checkpoint along the route. This is for safety reasons and will also help your raise your morale on a tough day. You may also be checked by a member of the race medical team.

What can I expect at a checkpoint?

  • Hot Drinks/ Water

  • Drinks including Tea, Coffee etc

  • Hot Food (1 good hot meal per athlete)

  • Somewhere to sleep (This may be a bed or floor space so be prepared!)

  • WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND EAR PLUGS AND A SLEEPING MASK. CHECKPOINTS CAN BE NOISY!

  • Toilets this may or may not include shower facilities

  • Shower Facilities are available at CP1, 2, 4.

  • We do our best to provide adequate washing facilities at the end of the Spine® Fusion & Flare

  • Medical Staff

We try our best to cater for allergies/ dietary requirements but if you have a specialist diet you may need to bring additional food. Please contact info@thespinerace.com for further information. If you login to your account profile you can update your dietary preferences and supply us with additional information by selecting ‘Other’ and completing the text input field.

Please note that after the race has concluded and the last entrants have crossed the finish line, finish venues or checkpoints will remain open up to 4hrs. After this time the venue will be closed.
